    Shop-In-Shop

 

  • Drafting and negotiating shop-in-shop (also known as pop-in-shop) agreements (in the form of concessions, co-operation agreements, operating agreements or leases) for commercial and retail venues, such as big box, movie theater, shopping mall, strip mall, whether as subtenant to a tenant of a retail space, or for eCommerce shop-in-shop agreements regarding listings within website pages or for dedicated website pages on large retail shopping sites.

 

  • Drafting and negotiating all ancillary agreements required to implement the shop-in-shop (such as for consultants, employees, internet, marketing, procurement, security, sourcing, transportation).

 

  • If a franchise situation, focus on the items to be displayed and sold, and particular attention regarding what support the franchisor will be offering (such as advertising and public relations, branding materials, customer service, design and planning services, locations offered in what retail stores, online services, promotional items, supply regularity).

 

  • Consultation regarding advertising strategies (both at the retail site and online), engaging various subject matter experts (SMEs) such as for presentation (colors, logo, materials to construct the elements of the physical shop-in-shop), placement within the retail space, arrangement of products, lighting, employee sourcing.
